About this archive

• This archive covers the Iranian press from 1300 to 1357 SH (1921–1979) — the periodicals of the first and second Pahlavi eras. Our aim is to provide a platform that makes research into Iran’s contemporary history easier.

• Not every title in this archive has all of its published issues. The text of every available issue has been read with the help of AI, yet parts of a periodical may still not have been read. Full-text search therefore runs across all issues, but results only come from the parts whose text has been read and processed. We are working to close this gap as soon as possible.

• You can voluntarily upload issues that are missing from our archive, for other researchers to use, and help make it richer.

• The system is currently in its trial period and is updated from time to time.

• In the near future, the press of the Sacred Defense era and after will also be added to the collection.
